New Content Manager Service Provides “Any Time – Anywhere” Collaborative Content Workflows for The Next Generation of Radio

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands – September 09, 2016 – DAVID Systems, a leading enterprise software company, known for open, customizable and scalable rich media workflows, today announced its strategic partnership with Radio Wroclaw, one of Poland’s most innovative public broadcasters, for the adoption and implementation of DAVID System’s new browser-based Content Manager service for both the Radio Wroclaw and Radio RAM channels.

The partnership with Radio Wroclaw, located in one of Europe’s 2016 capitals for culture, came to fruition in 2015 with the development of Radio Wroclaw Kultura, a digital only channel (DAB+) devoted to culture and the arts. Radio Wroclaw then identified a need to move to a more modern contextual based system leading to an expansion of the partnership with DAVID Systems. Tomasz Duda, General Manager of Radio Wroclaw says, “Radio Wroclaw is an innovator and thought leader in radio, and it’s our aim to use technologies that help us bring our Polish audiences the stories that affect their lives. DAVID Systems is a strategic partner who helps us deliver on that goal by enabling us to work better together across the organization.”

DAVID System’s browser-based Content Manager provides radio production professionals context-sensitive, centralized project oversight, creating an efficient, real-time approach to handling day-to-day workflows commonly found in radio stations. One such example is importing, converting and integrating audio files from field reporters for newscasts. The centralization allows radio production professionals to start, edit and finalize projects at any time, from anywhere and on any device. The upgrade significantly reduces the amount of time employees invest in administrative tasks and training, allowing them to instead focus on stories, publishing and other efforts that directly add value to the station.

Key features of DAVID System’s Content Manager

  • Workflows move seamlessly between platforms, providing independence from operating systems.
  • Easy development, integration and adoption of new workflows (e.g. the addition a “publish” tool for social media) without outside help.
  • Access and management of projects from anywhere at any time with any device.

“We pride ourselves on having a forward-looking mindset,” says Vincent Benveniste, co-owner and CEO of DAVID Systems, “and we are excited to provide our strategic partner Radio Wroclaw with a service that enables them to be a true radio pioneer.”

For the localization and implementation of the project, DAVID Systems partnered with STUDIOTECH, which runs the distribution, sales, installation, and after-sales servicing of professional audiovisual equipment. “We are thrilled to partner with DAVID Systems and Radio Wroclaw on this strategic initiative. Helping Radio Wroclaw implement and localize DAVID Systems’ Content Manager exemplifies STUDIOTECH’s innovative spirit and cutting edge approach,” says Elwira Marchowska, CEO of STUDIOTECH.

STUDIOTECH’s main business is the distribution/sales, installation and after-sales servicing of professional audio and video equipment. The company also designs and installs turnkey projects such as recording/mixing radio/television studios, news and playout systems, digital intermediate solutions, editing suites, mobile OB units and, on request, provides fully tested, serviced and guaranteed used equipment. STUDIOTECH Poland began in Warsaw in 1995. Application and determination helped the company become established and now STUDIOTECH is among the leaders in Poland.
