Munich, Germany – July 28, 2010 – From September 10-14, IBC 2010 will unveil new products and technologies for the electronic media and entertainment industry at the RAI in Amsterdam, Netherlands. DAVID Systems, a leading provider of global broadcast solutions, will showcase its solutions in hall 7 at booth 7.G34 and within Microsoft’s booth in the Topaz Lounge. This year’s presence will demonstrate new and innovative solutions for tri-media collaboration and cross-platform media management. DAVID Systems is determined to set new standards for interoperability and integration of 3rd party solutions to improve collaboration and editorial workflows in Radio, TV and rich media broadcast applications.

DAVID’s latest developments are focused on improving the management of production workflows. Where time to playout, quantity and quality of the news, and re-purposing of assets over various channels and media, play a strategic role, DAVID solutions can unify and streamline technology and processes with an easy to manage platform for broadcast and broadband.

This year’s demo highlights at IBC include:

  • SOA-based (service-oriented architecture) Media Management System for Broadcast Production – DAVID Systems is presenting a highly flexible and scalable next-generation media management system where new services can be easily integrated to enable broadcasters and media houses to monetize their content across an ever increasing number of distribution channels.
  • LoRes/HiRes Production with Final Cut Pro and DigaSystem® – This new development frees up journalists’ creativity by reducing complexity in rough news A/V editing with DigaCut ST and provides a smooth project exchange to the next workflow step of HiRes editing with Final Cut Pro.
  • Seamless broadcast workflows “from Ingest to distribution” – DAVID has identified the core pain points for cross-media production and tri-media distribution and provides a solution portfolio which optimizes workflows by integrating and adding the tools needed to support the Radio and TV evolution on existing IT infrastructures.
  • Editorial Collaboration with next generation DigaSystem®, Microsoft SharePoint and Windows Azure – DAVID Systems will demonstrate a new cross-platform solution with SharePoint integration and Windows Azure support providing cloud computing and interoperability of all platforms and applications into a single, web-based platform.

“We are looking forward to this year’s IBC, and to presenting our broad portfolio of broadcast solutions. While our solutions address entire workflows from production and exchange, to re-purposing content within Radio and TV stations, our new developments specifically reduce complexity and the time to delivery by targeting the areas of collaboration, integration and the evolution to tri-media.", says Vincent Benveniste, CEO, DAVID Systems GmbH.
