P4 in Norway chooses DAVID Systems
[Munich, June 2, 2009] P4 Radio a private Norwegian radio and TV station located in Oslo and Lillehammer will rely on DAVID Systems as the main provider for the technical renewal of their radio production and automation system. One of the main reasons for their decision is the high degree of scalability and expandability offered through the DigaSystem family of products. Particularly the possibility to enhance the system with video functionality was an important aspect with view of the current developments in the broadcast market.
P4 will be equipped with the latest production and BroadcastServer technology as well as with Moves Media applications to connect both locations. The order has been acquired by DAVID Systems’ Norwegian partner Danmon Group who is also responsible for professional services and subsequent support.

No down-time could be accepted and, considering that we are working on multiple locations and modifying existing infrastructure, it is a challenging operation. Thanks to full co-operation from DAVID Systems, we are sure the installation will be completed as scheduled.
