[Munich, May 28, 2009] Vincent Benveniste, has been appointed as new DAVID Systems CEO, replacing Stephan K. Schindler, who will concentrate on his role as CEO at Silex Media and take on a board position at DAVID Systems focusing on the company’s strategic initiatives. Benveniste comes with many years of experience in the broadcast industry, most recently as V.P. Sales for the Silex Media Group.
In his time overlooking sales and marketing activities for the Silex Media and DAVID Systems partnership, Benveniste has acquired a broad experience in the DAVID Systems’ operations over the past two years. His move concludes an initiative to position both companies separately. Benveniste’s appointment is also the final step of a process led by Schindler, to transform the company into a partner-friendly product company. Schindler will continue to keep key responsibilities in some of the company’s strategic initiatives.
“It is a privilege for me to lead such a motivated international team, backed by the finest set of customers throughout the world”, stated Vincent Benveniste. “The positive feedback we have received over the past months from both our partners and our key customers has confirmed that we are executing better than ever before “
Stephan K. Schindler explained: “I am very glad that we reached this milestone and now have a team of experienced managers in place at DAVID Systems that Vincent knows well and who have the combined ability to bring additional value to our customers and prospects. We are also on the right path for a broader portfolio of partnerships to put us even more in the headlights of a market that is undergoing a significant consolidation.”
