WNYC – The largest radio audience in the United States tunes into New York City’s public radio stations WNYC and WNYC-FM. Creating many of its programs solely for a podcast audience, WNYC also produces the national terrestrial radio programs NPR’s On the Media and Studio 360.
WAMU – The flagship station of The Diane Rehm Show, WAMU in Washington, D.C. is an early-adapter of radio’s 21st century content delivery technologies. In addition to traditional terrestrial broadcasting, the station runs on independent audio stream over the Internet and broadcasts Congressional hearings over supplemental HD Radio channels.
WETA – Following a unique multicultural news and talk format, this Washington, D.C. radio station intermixes local programming with shows from both national and international networks. WETA is committed to providing its audience with perspectives that fall outside of the mainstream.
United States Department of Agriculture – The USDA has its own in-house production house to cover news stories about American farming and global trade. News stories are made available to radio stations and the public alike through an Internet portal and an automated telephone service.
Connecticut Public Radio – After recently transitioning from a classical music format to news and talk, Connecticut Public Radio connects directly with the public in the most affluent state in America. It produces a wealth of local shows including Where We Live, a look at what’s happening in Connecticut, and the magazine program Essential Radio.
Marketplace Productions – The West Coast production house, American Public Media in Los Angeles, produces the Marketplace portfolio of programs - Marketplace, Marketplace Morning Report and Marketplace Money - and Weekend America, a two-hour magazine program for the weekend. Marketplace is the only national business news program originating from the West Coast.
